Veterinarian

Veterinarian | Clearwater, FL

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join a collaborative small-animal general practice in Clearwater, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian or a motivated new graduate looking to grow their clinical and surgical skills.

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality medical care for small-animal patients in a general practice setting


• Perform comprehensive exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, vaccinations, and preventive care


• Perform routine surgeries based on your experience and skill level, with opportunities to expand your surgical abilities


• Work closely with experienced veterinary technicians and support staff


• Build strong, trusting relationships with clients through clear communication and education


• Provide support for non-emergency urgent-care cases during regular business hours


• Enjoy a supportive 1:3 doctor-to-technician ratio

Required Qualifications:

• DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary program


• 2–3 years of clinical experience preferred


• Strong commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care


• Experience with diagnostic tools such as digital radiology, including full-body and dental imaging, and in-house laboratory equipment


• Willingness to perform basic routine surgery and continue developing surgical skills


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest or experience in soft-tissue surgery and/or advanced dentistry


• Broader clinical case experience


• Experience with exotic pets is a plus


• Interest in developing surgical skills and learning integrative or holistic approaches


• Active Florida veterinary license

Compensation

$120,000 – $160,000 annually + Bonus Eligibility
