Soliant Health is looking for a pharmacist for a in travel assignment in Louisiana

125 bed community medical center. EPIC software. Can be contract-to-hire. Housing is covered!

Setting: Hospital

Type: Travel Assignment

Schedule: variable days and afternoons

Duties

• Verifies physician orders and looks for therapeutic incompatibilities


• Consults with and advises Medical Staff to ensure optimal medication therapy regimens for patients


• Reconciles MARs and reviews antibiotic sensitivities


• Coordinates the filling and timely delivery of drugs and IV solutions from the pharmacy.


• Compounds, checks, supervises IV admixture per physician orders.


• Provides supervision and direction for pharmacy support staff.

Requirements

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy


• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacist


• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
