About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a growing manufacturing company in Charlotte, NC. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a mechanical aptitude that allows them to understand products, specifications, and customer needs.

The CSR will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, processing orders, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner.


• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.


• Coordinate with production, shipping, and sales teams to provide updates on order status and delivery timelines.


• Review product specifications and assist customers with product-related questions.


• Resolve customer concerns and issues while maintaining a positive customer experience.


• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and account information.


• Monitor orders from entry through shipment to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.


• Support internal teams with administrative and customer service functions as needed.


• Prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, order entry, inside sales support, or administrative experience preferred.


• Manufacturing or industrial environment experience is a plus.


• Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand technical products and specifications.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.


• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer systems.


• Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.


• High school diploma or equivalent required.
