Job Description

Metric Search is partnering with a leading global investment manager looking to add an Associate to a highly strategic finance team in New York.


The position combines FP&A, financial modeling and business analytics, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the organization. The successful candidate will help evaluate business performance, develop forward-looking forecasts and provide analysis used to support strategic and financial decisions.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain financial models supporting forecasts, budgets and longer-term planning.
  • Analyze revenue, expenses and broader business performance to understand key financial drivers.
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses around business performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare financial analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Work with large financial and operational datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Partner with teams across the organization on strategic and ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Improve existing models, reporting processes and analytical tools through automation and standardization.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, financial analysis or a similarly analytical finance role.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis or scenario modeling.
  • Comfortable analyzing large datasets and translating findings into clear business insights.
  • Strong Excel skills, with exposure to data visualization, automation or coding tools beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another analytical discipline.


Compensation:

Competitive base salary in the $120K-$175K range, plus year-end bonus and benefits.
