Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals and snacks according to menus, recipes, and dietary needs.
• Maintain clean, safe kitchen areas, equipment, dishes, and food storage spaces.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and temperature control procedures.
• Support inventory, records, and timely meal service for students and staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, food handling, sanitation, and child nutrition.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, dietary guidelines, and safety procedures.
• Good communication, basic record keeping, and ability to stand and lift kitchen supplies.
• Must meet required training, hygiene, background check, and workplace safety requirements.

Experience:

• Cooking: 4 years (Required)
• Kitchen stations: 4 years (Required)
