Clinical Manager – Ophthalmology Practice | Rockville, MD

A well-established group ophthalmology practice in Rockville, MD is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to join their team! In this role, you'll oversee the day-to-day clinical and operational activities of your team, ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care.

What You'll Do

• Supervise a team of 6–8 Ophthalmic Technicians, monitoring productivity and performance


• Build and manage weekly staffing schedules


• Train, coach, and mentor clinical staff


• Oversee patient flow to keep the practice running smoothly


• Review and update clinical protocols as needed


• Develop staffing plans to meet practice needs


• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new team members


• Set performance goals and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and recognition

What We're Looking For:

• COT or COA certification with 3+ years of experience in an ophthalmology practice, clinic, or hospital setting


• High school diploma required


• Previous supervisory experience required


• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
