Key Responsibilities:


Team Leadership & Employee Development

  • Supervise, coach, and develop Production and Warehouse team members to ensure a high-performing workforce.
  • Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to employees.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and participate in employee disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Promote a positive, safety-focused, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Coordinate staffing levels and daily work assignments to meet operational demands.


Production & Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee daily production and warehouse activities to ensure productivity, quality, and service goals are met.
  • Monitor workflow, labor utilization, and operational efficiency across both departments.
  • Ensure production schedules are executed effectively while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory management, and production support activities.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure equipment, materials, and resources are available to support daily operations.


Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Enforce company safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
  • Monitor quality standards and address issues that may impact product quality or customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and participate in incident investigations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.


Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities

  • Manage employee timekeeping and approve timesheets to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to productivity, labor utilization, inventory, quality, and operational performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Resolve escalated operational and employee-related issues in a timely and professional manner.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, Maintenance, and other departments to support operational objectives.
  • Participate in planning activities related to production schedules, inventory management, labor planning, and process improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements to improve overall business performance.



Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, and/or operations and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with Sigma or CRM tools is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
