Sector13 is a luxury wellness brand redefining the protein bar category through elevated nutrition, refined taste, and premium design. Built around the belief that nutrition should be intentional, aesthetic, and aligned with a higher standard of living, Sector13 is developing a premium protein bar that prioritizes whole ingredients, fiber, taste, texture, and sophisticated presentation. The brand’s mission is to introduce a new level of excellence to the protein bar industry while creating a product designed for consumers who expect more from both nutrition and design.

About the Role: Member of the Board of Advisors

Sector13 is seeking experienced leaders to join its Board of Advisors and help guide the company as it moves from product development toward commercialization and growth. Advisors will provide strategic insight across areas such as consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, wellness, nutrition, manufacturing, retail, branding, distribution, fundraising, and go-to-market strategy. The co-founders are Americans that have attended business school in Paris.

This is an opportunity to work closely with the founders of an emerging luxury wellness brand and contribute expertise, relationships, and strategic guidance during an important stage of company development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance to the founders on product development, commercialization, positioning, and company growth.


• Advise on go-to-market strategy, retail and distribution opportunities, strategic partnerships, and customer acquisition.


• Share relevant expertise and industry relationships across wellness, CPG, food and beverage, nutrition, manufacturing, luxury consumer brands, or retail.


• Provide feedback on business priorities, brand strategy, fundraising, and long-term growth opportunities.


• Participate in periodic advisory meetings and provide targeted guidance as business needs arise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Senior leadership, founder, investor, or advisory experience within CPG, food and beverage, nutrition, wellness, luxury consumer products, retail, or adjacent industries.


• Strong understanding of bringing consumer products from formulation and manufacturing through commercialization and market growth.


• Relevant relationships with manufacturers, distributors, retailers, investors, strategic partners, or consumer brands are highly valued.


• Experience building, scaling, investing in, or advising early-stage companies.


• Genuine interest in premium wellness products, entrepreneurship, and helping an emerging brand establish a differentiated market position.

Compensation

This is an advisory position with the opportunity to receive sweat equity in Sector13, subject to mutually agreed-upon terms, responsibilities, contribution level, and applicable company agreements.

Advisors will also have the opportunity to work directly with the founding team, contribute to the strategic development of an emerging consumer wellness brand, expand their network within the startup ecosystem, and potentially participate in future company investment opportunities where appropriate.
