<h1>Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift</h1><p><strong>Location:</strong> Manitowoc, WI<br><strong>Pay:</strong> $21.00/hour + $1.00/hour shift premium<br><strong>Schedule:</strong> 2nd Shift, 3:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m., Monday - Thursday<br> </p><h3>Position Summary</h3><p>A well-established manufacturing company in Manitowoc is seeking an experienced <strong>Forklift Operator</strong> to join their team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently moving raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility and assisting with material handling needs.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Operate powered forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the facility.<li>Load, unload, move, and stage raw materials, components, and finished products.<li>Deliver materials to designated production areas as needed.<li>Assist with shipping and receiving activities.<li>Verify materials and quantities to ensure accurate movement and placement.<li>Maintain organized material storage areas.<li>Occasionally operate a company pickup truck to transport raw materials or finished parts between locations.<li>Perform routine inspections of material-handling equipment and report any safety or maintenance concerns.<li>Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.<li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.<li>Perform other material-handling duties as assigned.</ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Previous forklift experience required.<li>Ability to safely operate a variety of powered industrial trucks.<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately move and stage materials.<li>Ability to work independently while also working effectively with the production and warehouse teams.<li>Good communication and organizational skills.<li>Ability to safely lift, move, and position materials as required.<li>Valid driver's license and a good driving record preferred due to occasional pickup truck operation.<li>Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.</ul><h3>What We’re Looking For</h3><p>The ideal candidate is a dependable, safety-conscious material handler who takes pride in doing the job correctly.
