Job Description

The Material Handler plays an essential role in ensuring that production runs smoothly by supplying production workers with the ingredients, materials, and tools needed to meet daily output goals. This position handles semi-finished products such as cream cheese, peppers, and olives, and is responsible for material preparation, documentation, inventory checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.





Material Handler Responsibilities:


  • Handle all semi-finished products, including cream cheese, peppers, and olives.

  • Follow established cleaning procedures for tools, equipment, and workstations to prevent contamination.

  • Gather and prepare materials as needed to support smooth production flow.

  • Ensure materials are always prepared and available for production workers.

  • Replenish product for stuffing and processing stations throughout the shift.

  • Track and record the amount of product processed and report production data to the supervisor.

  • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.

  • Multitask effectively to ensure all production workers remain supplied and supported.

  • Remove product from the line during changeovers or at the end of the shift.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, ensuring proper storage of all materials

  • Monitor inventory levels of semi-finished materials and notify supervisors of shortages.

  • Follow all GMPs, hygiene standards, and wear required PPE at all times.

  • Lift and move materials weighing 25–50 lbs as needed.

  • Perform repetitive tasks at a steady pace in a fast-paced food production environment.

  • Follow all company safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace for yourself and others.



Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm





Pay: $16/hr.





Production Worker Requirements:


  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and cold environment

  • Must be reliable and punctual

  • Ability to follow safety and quality procedures.

  • Ability to lift 25-5lbs.
