Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and preferences, developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health challenges, promoting community engagement and knowledge about coping strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to each individual's treatment.
  • Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies while adhering to ethical standards and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with state regulations and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate regularly in case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment strategies and share knowledge within the practice.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment, integrating this knowledge into your practice to improve patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on serving a diverse client base seeking support for a range of mental health issues. Our patients include adolescents, adults, and families dealing with complex challenges, and your expertise will be crucial in creating safe spaces for these individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings, work through their issues, and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments and craft effective treatment plans.
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy to a diverse population.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
