Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and design individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and culturally competent.

  • Provide therapy to a diverse clientele through various modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.

  • Facilitate group psychotherapy and psychoeducational sessions addressing topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and community support.

  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to develop a comprehensive care plan integrating medication management with therapeutic practices.

  • Respond to mental health crises with effective intervention strategies, ensuring patient safety and providing follow-up care as necessary.

  • Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources to empower their recovery journey.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Engage in case consultations and supervision with peers as part of your ongoing professional development and quality improvement processes.

  • Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in the mental health field to deliver the most effective interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals from varying backgrounds with a wide range of mental health needs. Therapists will work with children, adolescents, and adults, fostering a welcoming and affirming environment for all clients. Qualifications

  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon (required).

  • Strong foundation in therapeutic practices and a deep understanding of mental health disorders.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, essential for establishing rapport with patients and collaborating with team members.

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
