Location: Nashville, TN
Salary Range: Approximately $330,000-$370,000 (based on experience)
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

We are looking for a talented Anesthesiologist with a strong focus on Pain Management to become part of our dedicated team serving Veterans. This position offers a distinctive combination of perioperative anesthesia and acute/limited chronic pain management within a collaborative, academic setting in the vibrant city of Nashville.

Position Highlights
  • Manage diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for acute and limited chronic pain, prioritizing multimodal analgesia and functional recovery.

  • Administer regional anesthesia techniques (including spinal, epidural, and peripheral nerve blocks) to enhance pain control before, during, and after procedures.

  • Provide monitored anesthesia care, sedation, and analgesia for various surgical and interventional procedures.

  • Engage in comprehensive perioperative care, including preoperative assessments, intraoperative anesthetic management, and postoperative pain and recovery strategies.

  • Work collaboratively with surgeons, medical specialists, intensivists, and CRNAs in a team-oriented, academic environment.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and, if interested, engage in teaching and academic collaborations with affiliated institutions.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.

  • Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology.

  • Fellowship training or significant experience in Pain Management, perioperative medicine, or critical care is highly preferred.
