<p><b>Apply for tomorrow’s opportunity today, with Volt</b> <br /> <br /> <b>Volt</b> is hiring for a <b>3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic w/a GMP background </b>for a company located in<b> Arena, WI.</b></p> <h3>As a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic, you will:</h3> <ul> <li>Maintain production and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.</li> <li>Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and complete required checklists and reports.</li> <li>Monitor tool and material inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the Maintenance Lead or Foreman.</li> <li>Perform routine inspections of facility equipment and identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.</li> <li>Conduct preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and oiling equipment.</li> <li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production, filling, packaging, and ancillary equipment.</li> <li>Prioritize work orders based on operational impact and business needs.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with production associates, maintenance team members, and management.</li> <li>Follow established operating procedures, maintenance standards, and safety protocols.</li> <li>Notify supervisors of equipment, material, or product concerns that may impact production.</li> <li>Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.</li> <li>Maintain adequate hand tools necessary to perform maintenance repairs safely and effectively.</li> <li>Comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies, procedures, and position requirements.</li> <li>Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.</li> <li>Adhere to GMPs, sanitation requirements, and quality standards established by QA and management.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Lead, Foreman, or other members of management.</li> </ul> <p><b>This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity.</b></p> <h3>The ideal candidate will have:</h3> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li> <li>5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.</li> <li>Electrical maintenance experience.</li> <li>Experience working in a food manufacturing environment preferred.</li> <li>Machine operation experience preferred.</li> <li>Basic PLC troubleshooting skills preferred.</li> <li>Basic knowledge of electrical meters and electrical troubleshooting techniques.</li> <li>Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li> <li>Hands-on, self-motivated, and team-oriented work ethic.</li> <li>Positive, safety-first attitude.</li> <li>Welding experience a plus.</li> </ul> <h3>Schedule</h3> <p><b>Monday - Friday</b><br /> <b>3rd Shift: 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM</b></p> <h3>Pay Range</h3> <p><b>$28.00 - $30.00 per hour, plus shift differential</b></p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
