This is an immediate opening due to an unexpected resignation and offers the opportunity to become a permanent employee for the right candidate.</p><p>The ideal candidate has experience loading and unloading trucks, operating industrial lift equipment, and using a <strong>box clamp attachment or similar material handling equipment</strong> in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently<li>Operate material handling equipment, including equipment with a box clamp attachment<li>Operate gas and/or electric lift trucks<li>Move, stage, and organize materials for shipping and receiving<li>Verify shipments for accuracy and inspect products for damage<li>Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices<li>Maintain a clean and organized work area<li>Assist with other shipping and warehouse duties as needed</ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li><strong>Previous box clamp experience preferred</strong><li><strong>Experience operating gas and/or electric lift trucks preferred</strong><li>Prior shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience<li>Ability to safely load and unload trailers<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety<li>Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the day</ul><h2>Why Apply?</h2><ul><li>Potential for temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs<li>Great opportunity with a stable manufacturing company</ul><br>ABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
