## Position Overview
We are seeking a **skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sewer / Sewing Machine Operator** to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has experience operating industrial sewing machines, particularly **Juki machines**, and takes pride in producing precise, high-quality sewn products.
## Key Responsibilities
* Operate industrial sewing machines, including Juki machines, safely and efficiently.
* Sew and assemble garments according to patterns, specifications, and production requirements.
* Maintain consistent stitch quality, seam accuracy, and workmanship.
* Follow sewing instructions, patterns, work orders, and production specifications.
* Inspect materials and finished products for quality and defects.
* Adjust machine settings as needed.
* Perform threading, bobbin changes, cleaning, and basic machine maintenance.
* Work with various fabrics, elastic materials, and specialty textiles.
* Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
* Report material, machine, or production issues.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
* Follow company safety and manufacturing procedures.
## Qualifications
* Previous experience operating an **industrial sewing machine** required.
* **Juki sewing machine experience strongly preferred.**
* Apparel, medical garment, compression garment, or technical textile experience is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and consistent workmanship.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to perform repetitive sewing motions for extended periods.
## Preferred Skills
* Experience with stretch fabrics, elastic, or specialty textiles.
* Knowledge of garment construction and sewing techniques.
* Ability to troubleshoot basic sewing machine issues.
* Experience working from patterns or technical specifications.
