The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of hourly associates and ensuring <strong>safety, productivity, quality, and cleanliness</strong> in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.</p><p>Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with the candidate's experience level.</p><h2>Essential Job Functions</h2><h3>Production & Productivity</h3><ul><li>Manage human and material resources to meet production goals.<li>Ensure productivity expectations are met.<li>Prepare and maintain accurate production reports.<li>Monitor staffing levels and headcounts to support optimal production output.<li>Lead FAs for repetitive failures and production misses.<li>Monitor production activities and communicate issues to the Manufacturing Manager.</ul><h3>Safety & Cleanliness</h3><ul><li>Manage the safety and cleanliness of the production area.<li>Delegate cleaning responsibilities to hourly associates.<li>Ensure all employees within the area of responsibility are properly wearing required PPE.<li>Coach employees regarding unsafe behaviors and reinforce safety expectations.<li>Promote a safe and compliant work environment.</ul><h3>Quality</h3><ul><li>Monitor production lines to ensure products are manufactured according to customer specifications.<li>Coach production workers on food-safe production practices.<li>Ensure employees follow GMPs and established quality procedures.<li>Identify and address quality issues in a timely manner.</ul><h2>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</h2><ul><li>Basic understanding of manufacturing terminology and tools.<li>Basic knowledge of production, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<li>Strong leadership and team-management abilities.<li>Microsoft Office skills.<li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<li><strong>Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred and considered a plus</strong> to support a diverse workforce.</ul><h2>Physical Requirements</h2><ul><li>Ability to remain on your feet for <strong>10–12 hours</strong>.<li>Ability to lift up to <strong>40 pounds unassisted</strong>.<li>Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and climb while performing repetitive tasks.<li>Ability to work in both hot and cold environments.<li>Ability to properly wear required PPE for the entire shift.<li>Ability to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts.</ul>PandoLogic.
