What You'll Do

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities
• Maintain vendor records and support accurate financial reporting
• Partner with department leaders to track financial activity and funding requirements
• Assist with audits, documentation, and compliance reporting
• Help keep accounting operations organized and running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with formulas and spreadsheets
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
• Valid Hawaii driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in nonprofit accounting
• Experience supporting audits or grant-funded programs
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting
• Ability to travel off-island when business needs require it
• Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
