<p align="center"><b>We bring you tomorrow's opportunity, today.</b></p> <p align="center"> </p> <p>Volt is immediately hiring <b>Manufacturing Assembler in Winooski, VT.</b></p> <p> </p> <p>As a<b> Manufacturing Assembler, </b>you will:</p> <ul> <li>Assemble precision instruments, components, and subassemblies using work instructions and assembly drawings</li> <li>Read and interpret mechanical prints and bills of materials (BOMs)</li> <li>Perform assembly, measuring, testing, and product verification activities</li> <li>Conduct routine testing and inspections to ensure quality and performance standards are met</li> <li>Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed</li> <li>Support material handling activities including receiving, storing, and moving materials</li> <li>Maintain production records and documentation</li> <li>Enter and retrieve information in ERP and manufacturing systems</li> <li>Follow safety, quality, and Lean Manufacturing standards</li> <li>Work collaboratively to meet production and quality goals</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>This is a <b>fulltime, contract</b> opportunity.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Schedule:</b> <b>Day Shift Only</b></p> <ul> <li>Flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM</li> <li>Flexible work schedules available, including four 9-hour days with a 4-hour Friday</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>The ideal candidate will have:</p> <p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent</li> <li>1-3 years of manufacturing, production, assembly, or industrial experience</li> <li>Experience reading mechanical prints and bills of materials</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds</li> <li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications</li> <li>Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and dependability</li> </ul> <p><b>Preferred Skills & Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>Experience with instrument assembly, electromechanical assembly, testing, inspection, or repair</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints</li> <li>Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles</li> <li>Experience with quality inspection processes and manufacturing documentation</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Pay Rate:<i> $21.59 - $23.59 per hour.</i></b></p> <p><b>*</b>Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. </p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
