Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

As a Maintenance Mechanic you will:

• Day to Day Responsibilities
• Assists maintenance team and supports all aspects of the maintenance department as needed, including general building and grounds maintenance
• Assists with the installation of all new equipment
• Completes plant work orders, part lists, and preventive maintenance
• Ensures all plant equipment is functioning at optimum levels by performing short-term repairs and long-term improvements
• Completes tasks thoroughly and accurately to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory
• requirements
• Understands and follows established safety guidelines, programs, and procedures; and actively works to prevent safety incidents
• Supports food safety, legality, and quality programs
• Maintains product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality procedures
• Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives and Evolution Fresh Mission & Values
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Able to work changing schedules based on business needs.
• Consistently follows safety, quality, sanitation standards, policies, and procedures.
• Communicates operational and equipment issues clearly and concisely.
• Clear, concise communication in both oral and written formats.
• Diagnoses and resolves electrical and mechanical issues on plant equipment.
• Reads and interprets mechanical and technical equipment manuals.
• Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and elevated platforms.
• Works independently and makes sound decisions with minimal supervision.
• Apply basic math skills in daily operations.
• Familiarity with welding, plumbing, and machining fundamentals.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years in automated manufacturing or distribution environments.
• 5+ years working with industrial maintenance and electrical systems.
• 2+ years repairing and maintaining high?speed packaging machinery.
• Familiarity with Preventive Controls for Human Food (21 CFR 117), GFSI standards, and experience with BRC or SQF certification schemes.

Schedule: 10pm - 6:30am

Days: Tuesday - Saturday

Pay Rate: $37-$41 per hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
