<p><b>Apply for tomorrow’s opportunity today, with Volt</b> </p> <p><b>Volt is immediately hiring Process Technician for Injection Mold in Oxnard, CA.</b></p> <p><b>As a </b><b>Process Technician for Injection Mold, you Will:</b></p> <ul> <li>The duties of the Set-up Person include but are not limited to the following:</li> <li>Refer to Set-up Instruction Sheet.</li> <li>Prepare injection molding machine specified on Set-up Sheet for setup</li> <li>Locate Tool # to be used.</li> <li>Visually examine Tool for fitness -for-use.</li> <li>Hang tool specified on set up sheet in machine.</li> <li>Attach Cooling lines, Mold heater, Hopper dryer as specified.</li> <li>Inform Material Handler of material to be used.</li> <li>Prepare Material Hopper for material to be used.</li> <li>Set machine controls, time, temperature, pressure, etc. as outlined on setup sheet.</li> <li>Inform Operators of special handling, trimming, and packaging requirements.</li> <li>When all instructions of setup sheet are completed, mold first samples.</li> <li>Visually inspect first run samples for quality of workmanship.</li> <li>Prepare (detach from runner trim, bag) visually acceptable first shot samples.</li> <li>Submit samples to QA/SPC after initial set up and authorized process changes.</li> <li>Separate runners and material for regrinding from acceptable production.</li> <li>Adjust and record changes in process parameters when advised by QA.</li> <li>Stop machine when critical characteristics cannot be produced.</li> <li>Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling to satisfy facility maintenance.</li> <li>Respond to Quality Alerts and perform corrective/preventive action in a timely manner.</li> <li>Gather, prepare, and submit SPC sample parts to QA during the production.</li> <li>Stop machine and purge material at conclusion of production run.</li> <li>Communicate status of production run shift-to-shift.</li> <li>Coordinating and direct all production activities necessary to meet customer requirements i.e., tool issues, material handling, regrinding, packaging, and storage.</li> <li>Submit production records to the Administrative Office.</li> <li>Contribute to customer satisfaction by assuring that molding process setup produces moldings equal or better than the visual quality standards.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>This is a Full-time, Contract to Hire opportunity.</b></p> <p> </p> <p><b>Requirements:</b></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma / GED.</li> <li>Bilingual in English/Spanish.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Pay Range: $32.00 - $40.00 Per hour </b></p> <p> </p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p> </p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
