• Adhere to hospital policies and regulations while facilitating patient access to appropriate medical care and referrals.
• Deliver direct patient care within a Medical Treatment Facility.
• Provide consultative opinions to fellow physicians and healthcare personnel, overseeing care provided by non-physicians.
• Maintain health and clinical records in compliance with current regulations and standards.
• Determine when to seek guidance and advice as necessary.

Eligibility: Open to U.S. Citizens

To qualify, candidates must meet the educational and experiential criteria outlined below. Experience includes both paid and unpaid roles, such as volunteer work through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, community, student, social). All qualifying experience will be credited, including volunteer work. Your resume should clearly detail your relevant experience; if qualifying through education, transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Basic Requirements for Family Practice Physician:

• Degree: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from an accredited institution in the U.S. or Canada. Accreditation must be from recognized bodies such as the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association. For foreign degrees, equivalency must be established through certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
• Licensure: Candidates must hold a current, unrestricted license as a Physician from a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Graduate Training: Candidates must have at least one year of supervised clinical experience post-degree, such as a one-year internship or the first year of a residency program in an accredited facility.
• Residency Training: Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in Family Medicine, along with equivalent experience totaling at least four years. Experience cannot substitute for the required residency training.
