Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies
Develop and implement effective nursing care plans to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork among all nursing staff
Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing coaching and guidance to improve job performance
Identify and address any staffing or quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve nursing operations and patient care
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
Master's degree in Nursing or related field
Current RN license and certification in the state of New Jersey
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a nursing leadership role
Strong clinical knowledge and skills in gerontological nursing and care coordination
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
