Hospitalist Physician

Location: Adirondack Medical Center – Saranac Lake, NY
Schedule: Full-Time, 12-Hour Shifts

About the Opportunity

Adirondack Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist to join our dedicated inpatient medicine team at Adirondack Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity to practice comprehensive inpatient care in a collegial, patient-centered environment, supported by an organization committed to keeping high-quality care close to home for our rural communities.

You will join a supportive team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff focused on delivering coordinated, high-quality inpatient care in a community hospital setting that combines the resources of a regional health system with a manageable patient census.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: Range $335,000-$390,000 (based on experience)


• Incentives: Up to $10,000 per year performance bonus


• Sign-On Bonus: Negotiable for qualified candidates

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree


• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related specialty.


• Eligible for New York State medical licensure


• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills


• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered inpatient care
