Physical Therapist (PT) Opportunity



















The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, examining, and treating individuals with movement dysfunctions, injuries, disabilities, and other health-related conditions. This role develops individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Performing comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments

  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans

  • Monitoring patient progress and modifying interventions as needed

  • Promoting injury prevention, health, wellness, and fitness across all age groups

  • Collaborating with physicians, healthcare teams, patients, and families to achieve optimal outcomes

  • Participating in education, consultation, research, and professional development activities

  • Delivering exceptional patient and family customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality care

Requirements

Educational Requirements
Required:



  • Bachelor's in Physical Therapy or

  • Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy or

  • Masters in Speech-Language Pathology

Additional Requirements:

Experience

Required:

  • 2years recent exp

State of Florida Licensure Requirements

Required:

  • Physical Therapist License or

  • Occupational Therapy License or

  • Speech-Language Pathology License

Certifications/Registration Requirements

Required:

  • BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)


Other:Staff may be required to rotate to treatment areas, other than their primary designation, as requested by their department leader. This could include a regulated area (Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health, Rehab Hospital and Pediatrics) that requires Level 2 Background Screening.
