Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Director to lead major healthcare construction projects in Tampa, FL or Naples, FL. This direct hire leadership opportunity is ideal for a senior construction professional with deep healthcare project experience, strong financial and operational discipline, and a proven record of delivering complex projects from preconstruction through closeout.
The Construction Project Director will provide executive-level oversight for large-scale healthcare projects valued between $70M and $100M, including ground-up and renovation work. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-performing project teams, partner closely with owners and design professionals, and play a key role in the successful delivery of technically complex healthcare facilities across Florida.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead healthcare construction projects valued between $70M and $100M from preconstruction through completion.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost control, billing, change management, profitability, and overall financial performance.
- Manage project schedules, quality, safety, risk mitigation, contracts, procurement, and project controls.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders.
- Mentor, develop, and lead project teams while supporting a collaborative, high-performance project culture.
- Support business development and strategic growth by cultivating client relationships and identifying repeat business opportunities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $190,000 to $220,000 per year.
- Employment type: Direct hire.
- Location: Tampa, FL or Naples, FL.
