The Laborer supports the construction, installation, and maintenance of Fiber telecommunications infrastructure. This role involves physical labor, equipment handling, and assisting crews in the field. A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required to transport equipment, materials, and crew safely to job sites. Key Responsibilities
Assist with the installation and maintenance of Fiber communication systems (cell towers, antennas, cables, and ground equipment)
Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
Operate company vehicles, including CDL-class trucks, in a safe and compliant manner
Support crews with ground operations ( site prep, cleanup, etc.)
Perform basic construction tasks such as digging, trenching, concrete work, and site restoration
Follow safety protocols, including OSHA standards and fall protection guidelines
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition
Work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain
Travel to job sites as required (may include overnight stays)
Required Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Class A or B, depending on employer needs)
Clean driving record
Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to lift 50 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work
Willingness to work at heights and in outdoor environments
Basic mechanical aptitude
Strong work ethic and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in telecommunications, construction, or utility work
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., skid steer, bucket truck)
Knowledge of RF (radio frequency) equipment and cabling
CPR/First Aid certification
Work Environment
Outdoor job sites, including rooftops and remote tower locations
Exposure to weather, heights, and construction-related hazards
Frequent travel required

Ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift for extended periods
