Clinical Oncology Pharmacist - Champaign, IL

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Oncology Pharmacist for a 13-week contract opportunity in an oncology clinic setting in Champaign, IL. This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the potential for extension and direct hire.

Position Details:

Location: Champaign, IL
Schedule: Days | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension/direct hire
Environment: Oncology Clinic
Order Entry System: Epic
Pay: $65t/hour

Job Responsibilities:

Provide clinical oncology pharmacy support within an oncology clinic setting
Review and manage oncology treatment plans
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to prepare hazardous medications for compounding
Perform final verification and double-check technician preparation
Provide oversight of pharmacy operations and ensure safe medication practices
Support clinical pharmacy initiatives related to oncology care

Required Qualifications:

Active Illinois Pharmacist License
Clinical pharmacy experience in oncology required
Recent oncology and chemotherapy experience required
Experience handling hazardous drugs required
Sterile compounding experience required
Must have experience working independently in a clinical oncology pharmacy environment
