Medix is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to provide vital clinical services to our nation's veterans. In this role, you will perform high-quality disability and compensation examinations, helping veterans seek benefits for service-connected health issues. This position features an embedded clinic location with no evening or weekend requirements.Essential Responsibilities:
Reviewing veteran medical history, including abstracts that highlight portions applicable to claims.
Performing targeted physical evaluations for veterans and ensuring all charts are submitted within 24 hours.
Ordering and interpreting necessary labs and ancillary diagnostic services based on physical exams.
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary medical team to provide clear medical opinion decisions based on clinical findings and veteran claims.
