Your Role: You will assist with cardiac testing procedures, including stress tests and cardiolite exams, and will also be responsible for sedating patients during interventional radiology procedures.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Enjoy your weekends and holidays off, with no on-call duties required.
Job Summary and QualificationsPosition: Medical Imaging Nurse (RN)
The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act. You will employ therapeutic communication techniques in your daily interactions and maintain a safe and supportive environment. Identifying nursing challenges based on the unique needs of each patient is essential. You will create personalized care plans using an interdisciplinary approach and engage in performance improvement initiatives to align with the hospital's mission and vision.
In the capacity of charge nurse, you will oversee daily operations to ensure quality patient care is delivered in a therapeutic setting. Responsibilities include making staff assignments based on patient needs and acuity, serving as a clinical resource and role model for the team, and responding promptly to inquiries from physicians, staff, or patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate understanding of human growth and development, assessment, treatment options, and patient care tailored to the age groups served.
- Encourage customer service initiatives.
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care that meets patient needs.
- Exhibit proficiency in performing technical skills and procedures.
- Ensure timely documentation of all patient care activities.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Possess an Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or a Registered Nurse Diploma.
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience is required, including ICU, ER, or PACU experience.
- Experience with moderate sedation is necessary.
