Staff Physicians- Section of Gastroenterology

Our organization is currently inviting applications for the role of Staff Physician in the field of Gastroenterology. We are looking for a full-time, board-certified physician to become a part of our Gastroenterology department at the Eastern Oklahoma VA Medical Center Hospital. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic clinical environment and hold dual board certifications in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. We are particularly interested in individuals who are keen on managing both outpatient and inpatient consultations. This position supports a 60-bed VA hospital located in Tulsa and reports directly to the Chief of Medicine Specialty. This is a non-supervisory role, and we encourage you to join our expanding department dedicated to serving Veteran patients.

• Engage in a busy clinical practice focusing on both outpatient and inpatient care.
• Collaborate with various medical specialties, including surgery, pathology, and radiology.
• Participate in teaching opportunities through our partnerships with local medical colleges.
• Conduct endoscopic procedures at both the hospital and outpatient clinic.

• MD or DO degree with a current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the U.S.
• Board certification or eligibility in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.
• Suitability for academic appointments at local medical colleges.
• Eligibility for appointment at the VA.

This is a full-time position requiring a Monday to Friday schedule, with the possibility of evening or weekend shifts as part of a 24/7 full-time physician role. The position entails a commitment of 40 hours per week, with ad-hoc telework options available, though it is not a remote position. Applicants must be U.S. citizens; non-citizens may be considered under certain circumstances.

• Salary range: $320,000 to $400,000, with the potential for an annual performance bonus of up to $15,000.
