Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or ability to obtain one
• Previous pediatric or school-based therapy experience
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams
• Understanding of special education processes including IEP development
• Ability to manage both direct and indirect services efficiently
• Organized, adaptable, and passionate about helping students thrive

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations to identify students’ needs
• Participate actively in the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Deliver both direct and indirect occupational therapy services, fostering students’ development in daily living, motor, sensory, and social-emotional skills
• Maintain detailed, accurate records in compliance with all regulations and school policies
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom
• Utilize evidence-based practices and contribute to a positive and supportive school environment
