A Brief OverviewAccountable for the planning, coordination, and supervision of daily operations within the interventional procedural suites, including interventional radiology, neurointerventional, and future vascular services. This role ensures safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care delivery across multiple angiography labs and associated CT procedural support. Functions as a working supervisor, balancing clinical responsibilities with operational leadership. This position collaborates closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize procedural scheduling, throughput, and patient outcomes. Supports program development, accreditation readiness, and continuous performance improvement initiatives. Maintains compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards while fostering a cohesive, high-performing team environment.
What you will do
- Provides direct supervision and coordination of daily operations across interventional procedural suites, ensuring efficient patient flow, case readiness, and optimal utilization of procedural rooms.
- Functions as a working supervisor by performing clinical duties within the procedural environment while maintaining oversight of staffing, workflow, and patient care delivery.
- Collaborates with interventional radiologists, neurointerventionalists, and other procedural providers to manage and optimize daily schedules, case prioritization, and shared lab access.
- Coordinates staffing assignments and adjusts resources in real time to meet procedural demand, maintain safety, and support throughput goals.
- Partners with nursing leadership to ensure seamless coordination between procedural suites and pre/post care areas, promoting continuity of care and patient experience.
- Leads orientation, training, and ongoing competency validation for technologists; identifies development needs and supports professional growth and team cohesion.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards, including radiation safety and procedural best practices; actively participates in accreditation activities and readiness efforts.
- Monitors and drives quality and performance improvement initiatives related to procedural outcomes, efficiency, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.
- Assesses equipment, supply, and technology needs within procedural areas; supports implementation, staff education, and effective utilization.
- Assumes administrative duties applicable to the department when necessary.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon Hire or
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Upon Hire
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training
