Job Responsibilities
  • Full-Time position (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week)
  • Light call schedule
  • Staff and support duties
  • Perform medical procedures
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for patient management
  • Be part of a nationally recognized integrated organization with a physician-led medical group and embedded service lines
  • Utilize DAX Copilot, an AI-driven clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, to streamline workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review and signature
  • Work in an environment that prioritizes safe and equitable care for all patients
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school with an M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Completion of a Family Medicine Residency at an accredited healthcare institution
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine from the residency program
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration for prescription writing
  • Valid Alabama Medical Board Medical License as an M.D. or D.O.
Working Conditions
  • This role is entirely outpatient with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule
  • Full-time providers are expected to work 40 hours each week
  • Call responsibilities are shared on a rotating basis and are limited to telephone coverage
