Qualifications and Requirements
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board Eligible or Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Gastroenterology.
  • Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State medical license or be in the process of obtaining one, active by the date of hire.
  • New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • General GI skills are mandatory; ERCP and EUS are optional.
Responsibilities
  • Provide care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Conduct GI inpatient consultations and procedures as per role requirements.
  • Participate in reasonable GI inpatient call (approximately 7 days per month).
