Mammographer (Hybrid)
Job Description
The Radiology Department at our organization is looking for both full-time and part-time Mammographers. We are in search of a dynamic, motivated, and skilled individual to become a part of our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in providing Mammography and Women's Imaging services.
- Participate in the performance of approximately 11,000 mammogram studies annually and around 1,100 biopsies each year.
Our Women's Imaging Department is equipped with advanced technology, including:
- Two state-of-the-art 3-D Hologic Dimension machines
- One Hologic stereotactic machine
- Two 128-slice CT scanners
- A PET/CT scanner
- A 1.5 Tesla MRI
- Ultrasound and Diagnostic X-ray/Fluoroscopy suites
- Nuclear medicine facilities
You will collaborate with two full-time Mammographers and be supported by a team that includes:
- Two nurses
- Three technologists
- One Breast Imaging Supervisor
Our facility is an acute care center that is part of the largest municipal healthcare system in the United States, serving a highly diverse population with a wide range of medical needs. We are recognized as a Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Qualifications- Must be Board certified or eligible in Radiology.
- Must hold a valid license to practice in the State of New York.
- Faculty appointments will be based on experience and achievements.
We offer competitive salaries based on qualifications:
- Board Eligible: $456,000
- Board Certified: $481,000
- Board Certified with ACGME Fellowship: $506,000
