Exciting Opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Our organization is thrilled to announce a full-time position for a Fellowship-Trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgery physician. This role is part of our dynamic and expanding multispecialty group practice located in Fresno, California.
Job Responsibilities
- Join a collaborative team as an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon with a strong focus on both cardiac and general thoracic surgery.
- Demonstrate expertise in procedures such as CABG, valve replacement/repair, and thoracic surgery.
- Exhibit proficiency in minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS).
- Engage in outreach to surrounding communities to foster relationships and expand services.
- Participate in the STS Registry and contribute to ongoing quality and outcomes improvement initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience is essential.
- Must hold a valid State of California Physician License or be able to obtain one before the start date.
- Eligibility for full credentialing as a member of the medical staff at our facility is required.
Working Conditions
The work schedule primarily consists of weekdays, with call coverage approximately 1:3, shared fairly among eligible cardiothoracic surgeons within the practice. The main work location will be at our medical center campus in Fresno, California.
