Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time Neuroimmunologist/MS Specialist to become a part of our Hauenstein Neurosciences team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a member of the esteemed Neuroscience Center, you will have access to a diverse array of subspecialty services, such as:

  • General Neurology
  • Alzheimer's and Memory Disorders
  • Headache Management
  • Movement Disorders and Parkinson's
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Neuromuscular Disorders (ALS and MD)
  • Neuro-Palliative and Supportive Care
  • Neuropsychology
  • Stroke Care
  • Neurocritical Care

Our care model is multidisciplinary, incorporating registered nurses (RNs), licensed medical social workers (LMSWs), and various therapists, including physical, occupational, and speech specialists. This collaborative approach ensures that we provide the highest quality of clinical care, along with additional support services such as dieticians and chaplains.

Practice Features:
  • Join a cooperative team of over 75 physicians and advanced practice professionals.
  • Play a pivotal role in enhancing our MS Center partnership as we strive to achieve MS Center of Excellence status.
  • Engage in ongoing clinical trials and investigator-initiated research, supported by the Clinical Trials Unit in Grand Rapids.
  • Participate in medical education through teaching roles within our neurology residency program.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a fellowship in Neuroimmunology/MS.
  • Board certification in your specialty is required, or board eligibility with the expectation of certification within two years.
  • A valid Michigan state license is necessary at the time of employment.
  • DEA license and BLS certification, with ongoing recertification required.
