Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Openings will be available throughout the city across all grade levels (PreK-12), with a strong, ongoing need for credentialed professionals in both Mild/Moderate Disabilities and Extensive Support Needs (Moderate/Severe), as well as Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE).

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California teaching credential in one or more of the following: Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Moderate/Severe (Extensive Support Needs), or Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
• Previous Special Education teaching experience in school settings preferred
• Passion for supporting students with diverse and complex learning needs
• Adaptability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administration
• Foster inclusive classroom environments that support each student’s growth and independence
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing assessment of students’ progress
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
