Duties also include: recording and warehousing raw materials and in-process materials for future use, working in a safe manner, and obeying all safety rules.</span></span></span></span><br><br><span ><span ><strong><u>WORK DEVICES: </u></strong></span></span><br><span ><span ><span ><span >Roll clamp, box clamp, forklift, production sheets, clipboard, RF units, floor sweeper, tractor, company truck, mowers, lifts, scrap systems and balers.</span></span></span></span><br><span ><span ><strong><u>DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:</u></strong></span></span><ul><li ><span ><span >Perform all duties in a safe and orderly manner. </span></span><li ><span ><span >Actively engaged, involved, and current in SWO process; Participate in safety meetings and safety tours.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Ensure production and distribution of products consistent with established food safety, sanitation and quality standards.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Deliver raw or in-process materials to production areas. </span></span><li ><span ><span >Operate RF unit; Properly document transactions between production and warehouse. </span></span><li ><span ><span >Store all materials in designated storage areas, properly documented and accordance with designated storage patterns. Consolidate product in warehouse to ensure proper room in warehouse.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Unload, warehouse, and properly document inbound shipments; Load and properly document outbound shipments.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Help in reconciling inventory problems.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Notify Supervisor and/or Group Leader of any damaged shipments.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Check areas of truck listed on forklift check sheet; report problems to shift supervisor or group leader.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Shuttle materials required for production needs from outside warehouse. </span></span><li ><span ><span >Operate all Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), scissor and boom lifts to heights of up to 30 feet, baler machines, banders, hand tapers, and tape sealing machines. </span></span><li ><span ><span >Fill propane tanks, as assigned.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Once qualified, instruct and train other operators.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Fulfill overtime requirements necessary to ensure job requirements are met.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Perform all duties in the Warehouse baler room operation.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Perform all Warehouse Labor Grade 3 duties.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Perform Distribution Labor Grade 4 duties when necessary.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Perform Railroad duties when necessary.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Follow inventory protocol to maintain good cycle counts.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Assist in other areas or perform other duties, as assigned.</span></span></ul><br><span ><span ><strong><u>SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></span></span><ul><li ><span ><span >Ability to complete job specific training for and essential functions of this job classification. </span></span><li ><span ><span >Good communication skills.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Demonstrated ability to prioritize assigned work duties, organizational skills and detail orientation.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision; Ability to follow verbal or written instructions.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Works well with other own and with others.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Must have a valid Drivers License. </span></span><li ><span ><span >Able to work overtime-required to cover the opposite shift railroad operators.</span></span><li ><span ><span >Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without accommodation.
