Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent medical center and children's hospital, is on the lookout for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to enhance our Pediatrics subspecialty faculty team at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Flint, Michigan.
Job OverviewThe role involves serving as an academic pediatric endocrinologist within the Pediatrics residency program. Candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible if currently in training. This position emphasizes teaching resident physicians and engaging actively as a faculty member.
Key Responsibilities- Educate and mentor resident physicians in pediatric endocrinology.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings and departmental activities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and students.
- Board certification or eligibility in pediatric endocrinology.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent communication abilities and comfort with technology.
- Willingness to engage with an urban patient population.
Faculty members at our medical center may seek an academic appointment with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, with the rank determined by experience.
