Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time Gastroenterologist to become a part of our Grand Rapids Gastroenterology Team.
Practice Highlights:- Join a friendly and skilled group consisting of six dedicated physicians and five advanced practice providers (APPs), with plans for future expansion.
- Participate in a well-established advanced endoscopy program that offers a wide array of techniques in a state-of-the-art environment.
- Take advantage of a high-volume, endoscopy-exclusive ambulatory surgery center (ASC) and a modern inpatient endoscopy unit, both conveniently situated on the same campus as our office, with ample parking available.
- Enjoy the benefits of MAC anesthesia for all inpatient and outpatient procedures, enhancing patient comfort and procedural efficiency.
- Work within a collaborative and supportive atmosphere that emphasizes professionalism, confidence, and teamwork.
- Practice in contemporary facilities equipped with Olympus 190 scopes, utilizing Epic for inpatient and clinic visits, and Provation for all procedure documentation.
- Experience a manageable call schedule, with coverage expected every eighth week.
- Typically, the daily endoscopy schedule includes 14 outpatient procedures, while the inpatient census averages fewer than 10 patients, supported by APPs for inpatient consults, ensuring a balanced and sustainable workload.
- Act as a referral center for specialized care across the region, serving Trinity Health West Michigan.
- Collaborate closely with the Lacks Cancer Center and the Cancer Center Network of West Michigan, receiving strong support from surgical oncology, medical oncology, colorectal surgery, and interventional radiology.
- Engage in educational initiatives through resident teaching and mentorship, aiding in the development of future healthcare professionals.

- A competitive salary starting at $600,000, along with a $75,000 signing bonus.
