Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 5 shifts per week (8-hour shifts)
  • 15:00–23:30
  • Every 3rd weekend rotation (same hours)
  • Call time required during assigned weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current licensure and certification as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Proven experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Hospital settings
  • Proficiency with intraoperative radiology procedures and portable/fluoroscopic imaging
  • Comprehensive understanding of radiology safety standards (ALARA principles)
  • Working knowledge of healthcare information systems
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with medical staff, patients, and ancillary departments
  • Commitment to detailed documentation and high-quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide variety of radiologic procedures, including portable, fluoroscopic, and operating room imaging
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication with referring physicians, radiologists, staff, and patients
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation safety practices to ensure patient and staff protection
  • Conduct patient education regarding radiology procedures, ensuring questions are addressed thoroughly
  • Document all procedures and interactions accurately, ensuring compliance with hospital policies
  • Report incidents according to established protocols
  • Maintain a high standard of clinical practice across all imaging and radiologic procedures
  • Support team members and take on other related duties as necessary
