Locum Tenens Opportunity: Family Nurse Practitioner Near Olympia, WAWe are seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a locum tenens position near Olympia, WA. - Specialty: Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

- Contract Length: Ongoing
- Shift Details: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
- Optional Overtime: Saturday hours available at an increased rateWork Environment:
- Practice Setting: Outpatient ambulatory setting in a Community Health Center
- Support Staff:
- Dedicated medical assistant for each provider
- Receptionist and other support staff
- Onsite mental health therapists, dietitians, and pediatricians
- Local health care administrator for timesheet submissions
- Patient Population: All ages, from newborns to geriatrics
- Patient Volume: Up to 18 patients per day; productivity expectation must be met for overtime approval
- Department Description:
- Focus on family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, and chronic disease management
- Experience in community health settings or a strong interest in working with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees (interpretative services available onsite)
- Special Procedures: Basic procedures including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound careTravel and Accommodation:

- Board Certification: Required
- License: Active Washington state license required; non-licensed candidates will not be considered
- DEA: Active Washington DEA required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, or others as discussed during credentialing (provider responsible for obtaining any required certifications)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an FNP required
- Recent face-to-face patient contact within the past year
- Clean background with no malpractice historyAdditional Details:
- Orientation: 1-week onsite orientation with the expectation to begin patient care by day 3
