"OB/GYN Physician AssistantLocation: Colorado Springs, COJob Type: Locum Tenens / Full-TimeOverview:A clinic and hospital-based opportunity is available for an OB/GYN Physician Assistant to provide primarily outpatient care with some inpatient coverage. This role involves managing obstetric and gynecologic patients in a collaborative practice setting.Compensation:$200/hrSchedule:Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (primarily clinic)Shared call schedule:1:5 day call1:10 night and weekend callPractice Details:Setting: Clinic with some hospital coverageEMR: Not specifiedOnsite lab and ultrasound (performed by technicians)Multidisciplinary team including OB/GYN physicians, APPs, and support staffNo supervision responsibilitiesPatient Volume:Clinic: 20 patients per dayDeliveries: 3 per weekGYN procedures: 8 per weekCase Mix:70% low-risk obstetrics10% high-risk obstetrics30% C-sections10% office gynecology10% surgical gynecologyResponsibilities:Provide outpatient OB/GYN careAssist with labor and delivery as neededParticipate in call coverageCollaborate with physicians and care teamsRequired Experience & Procedures:Low-risk obstetric managementFetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)Routine and complicated deliveries (including C-sections)VBACsRepair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerationsPreferred Experience:High-risk obstetricsOB ultrasound performance and interpretationMinor gynecologic procedures (IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, etc.)Requirements:Board Certified Physician Assistant RequiredActive Colorado License PreferredBLS, ACLS, and NRP RequiredOB/GYN experience RequiredNPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) RequiredCredentialing:Must be able to obtain privileges prior to start" read more
