Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N or NMTCB).
  • Demonstrated experience in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety standards and proper handling of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to following protocols and ensuring high-quality images.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocols and physician orders.
  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures, ensuring accurate image capture and appropriate patient positioning.
  • Monitor patients’ conditions during and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all imaging examinations and patient interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal diagnostic results.
  • Perform quality control checks on equipment, following preventative maintenance schedules and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Adhere to all facility policies, state, and federal regulations related to imaging and patient care.
