Job Opportunity: Outpatient Gastroenterologist

We are excited to announce an opening for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Outpatient Gastroenterologist to become part of our established team in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus primarily on outpatient care, dedicating 3.5 full days to endoscopy and 1 full day to clinic duties.
  • No weekend on-call duties are required, although there is an option for additional per diem compensation for those interested in covering weekend inpatient shifts.
  • Participate in low-frequency weeknight on-call duties (Monday to Thursday), shared with fellow outpatient physicians, with an inpatient nocturnist APP handling first call.
  • Receive excellent support from advanced practice providers (APPs) who assist with patient care in the clinic.
Team Composition

Our team includes:

  • Outpatient general gastroenterologists
  • Interventional gastroenterologists
  • Inpatient GI hospitalists
  • IBD subspecialty gastroenterologists
  • GI advanced practice providers with extensive training in gastroenterology

The main GI team operates from three offices across Northeast Indiana, with the primary office situated on the scenic campus of our regional medical center.
