Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a dynamic school environment. You'll work two days per week, for a total of 15 hours, serving sites across the Simpsonville and Greer areas from August 4th, 2026 through May 27th, 2027—including dedicated pre- and post-planning days.

You’ll collaborate closely with an onsite OTR supervisor and engage with a manageable daily caseload, typically providing direct services to 8-10 students each day. Sessions generally last about 30 minutes per student, focusing on delivering high-impact occupational therapy interventions to support academic and social success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina COTA license is required
  • Recent experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy is highly preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage time across multiple sites
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educators, families, and therapy teams
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on occupational therapy services to assigned students
  • Document progress, treatment notes, and communicate updates with supervising OTR
