We are comprised of a 50-bed acute care medical center, level IV trauma center, level II intensive care nursery services, extensive physical rehabilitation program, outpatient surgery and diagnostic center and advanced wound care center. Manages the development and implementation of operational budgets, while ensuring financial viability. Ensures all provided therapeutic services meet all regulatory licensure and accrediting. Ensures the development and maintenance of continuous quality assessments and improvement programs for each area. Provides direction regarding clinical services, policies, procedures and productivity standards. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.<br> <br>Job Requirements:<br><br>Education and Work Experience:<br> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology: Required</li> <li>Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology: Preferred</li> <li>Five years' technical experience: Preferred</li> <li>Two years' leadership experience: Preferred</li> <li>Marketing experience: Preferred</li> </ul><br>Licenses/Certifications:<br> <ul> <li>State Occupational Therapy (OT) license or State Physical Therapy (PT) license or State Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license: Required</li> <li>National Occupational Therapy (NOT) license: Preferred</li> <li>American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) License: Preferred</li> <li>America Physical Therapy Association (APTA): Preferred</li> <li>Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech-Language Pathology (SLP): Required</li> </ul><br>Facility Specific License/Certifications:<br> <ul> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li> </ul><br>Essential Functions:<br> <ul> <li>Manages department operations, ensuring delivery of quality clinical services. Collaborates with medical directors to formulate operational policies.</li> <li>Directs personnel activities, utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion as well as independent judgment.</li> <li>Oversees sales program and material development, as necessary to market specific service areas and target certain populations.</li> <li>Manages resources to achieve delivery of quality therapeutic services, diagnostic testing and positive employee relations. Proposes patient care improvement plans to medical directors and hospital administrators. Plans efficient use of personnel, space and equipment to ensure effective patient treatment.</li> <li>Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements including licensure, certifications and registrations.
