Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Veterinary Technician located in Gaithersburg, MD. The role involves direct animal care, preparation and assistance in surgical and diagnostic procedures, performing anesthesiology tasks, and educating clients on pet care plans. The Licensed Veterinary Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of animals, while also supporting veterinarians and engaging with pet owners to provide exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Animal Care and Pet Care, demonstrating compassion and effective handling of animals.
• Proficiency in Veterinary Technology, including familiarity with medical equipment and veterinary procedures.
• Experience in Anesthesiology, including monitoring, preparation, and administration of anesthesia.
• Strong Client Education skills, with the ability to clearly communicate care instructions and treatment plans to pet owners.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician credential is required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team.
• Familiarity with advanced diagnostic imaging techniques (MRI, CT) is a plus.
